Yes if a person is proven guilty they should be punished. However we as a society need to remember that the law in this country states that a person is innocent until PROVEN guilty. Just because a police officer makes an arrest,it doesn't mean that a person is guilty. It only means that there was grounds for reasonable suspision of an unlawful act. There are plenty of innocent people being accused of and punished for crimes they have not committed. I am not insensitve to the victims of these burglars, for I too, have had my home burglared, however it is unfair of our police force to make hasty arrests and to file false police reports with biased opinions. Such as the case of a young man I have come to know very well. Thank you.JESUS LOVES YOU
