Authorities on Saturday, June 30, 2012, evacuated residents and surrounded an apartment complex in Salida, Calif., where an armed man was believed to be holed up inside and refusing to come out. The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. at the home on Jeppson Drive, just south of Kiernan Avenue and east of Toomes Road. Stanislaus County sheriff’s officials received reports of a man, possibly armed with a sawed-off shotgun, involved in a family dispute and threatening relatives.

  1. Click on the blue "gear" icon in the lower right corner to bring up the settings window.
  2. Click on the webcam icon.
  3. If you are using a built in iSight camera, choose USB Video Class Video from the pulldown menu. You should see video immediately.

  4. Click "close" button.
  5. Record! You must record at least ten seconds before you can stop.
