Color the Skies Balloon Festival

(Dan Day/dday@modbee.com) Dale Stroble pilots his hot air balloon over the Stanislaus River near Ripon, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011. Stroble took off from the Color the Skies ballooning event to raise funds for Children's Hospital Central California. On board with Stroble are Angel, a student pilot, and Dan Day of The Modesto Bee.

Click "close" button.
